1. Welding speed

Simply use spot welding machines and automatic welding to classify. The welding operation of laser spot welding machine is simple and the welding speed is fast. The operation of non-melting arc welding is relatively difficult and there are consumables, so the welding speed is relatively slow.

The welding speed difference between automatic laser welding machine and automatic argon arc welding is not very big, because argon arc welding still requires molten wire, so the welding speed will still be slightly slower than that of the automatic laser welding machine.

2. Welding depth

Laser welding machines use lasers to melt and weld materials, but lasers have a shortcoming in deep welding. This is not to say that laser depth welding is not possible, but that the cost is too high. For example: If you need to weld a 2.0mm stainless steel plate, if you use a laser welding machine, you must use at least a 500W optical fiber transmission laser welding machine. The price is about 100,000, and ordinary argon arc welding machines can weld it. Such a thick stainless steel plate, but the cheap one only costs a few hundred yuan, and the automatic argon arc welding only costs 20,000 to 30,000 yuan.


Therefore, if you want to weld very thick materials that require very deep penetration, it is not cost-effective to use a laser welding machine.


3.Welding effect

It's useless to say a thousand words and ten thousand, the welding effect is really good only if it is good. The welding appearance of laser spot welding machine is more beautiful than that of non-melting electrode argon arc welding. The welding appearance of automatic laser welding machine and automatic argon arc welding machine is similar.

Laser welding of thin materials looks better. In terms of welding firmness, as long as the power of the laser welding machine is large enough, it can weld very firmly, which is comparable to argon arc welding. However, the heat of the laser welding machine is more concentrated and the thermal deformation caused to the material is small, so the laser welding machine has more advantages in welding thin-walled materials. In terms of accuracy, the laser welding machine has higher accuracy, and the laser welding machine basically does not need to be processed after welding, which saves time and trouble.
