Fiber laser cutting machines are divided into internal and external optics.

1.Internal optics

①Cutting principle

Laser is a laser generator that releases a super-dense laser beam, which is irradiated on the metal plate through the light spot. The high temperature instantly melts or vaporizes the cutting material, and then uses high-pressure gas to blow away the melted molten material and residue, thereby achieving cutting. seam, and then realize cutting through the three-axis linkage of X, Y and Z.

②The generation of laser,

Laser converts electrical energy into light energy. Because the conversion between energy cannot be 100%, when part of the electrical energy is converted into light energy, the other part becomes heat energy.

③ Heat generation

Laser converts electrical energy into light energy. When this part of the heat energy is generated, it will stay inside the laser and damage the components inside the laser.

Therefore, this part of the heat needs to be taken away through water, so a chiller must be added.


2. External optics

①Light transmission

When the fiber laser generator generates light and transmits it to our laser head through the optical fiber, then the optical fiber will produce a certain amount of energy loss when it is connected to the laser head, because the propagation of light is diffusive. This kind of light is also called Astigmatism, because light and light are mutually exclusive, so they can be infinitely close, but they will never intersect. Its shape is like a waist.

When they are released by the fiber optic head, they take on a wavy shape.

② Processing of waveform light

Waveform light is not conducive to collecting and concentrating energy, so a collimating lens is needed to process the waveform light into something close to parallel light, but of course it is not absolutely parallel light.

③ The function of focusing lens

The function of the focusing lens is to collect and concentrate the light that has been processed into nearly parallel to form a super dense light spot.

④The role of protective lenses

When the fiber laser cutting machine is in use, a certain amount ofmetal dust and debris will be generated, and some metal dust and debris will be produced. will enter the cutting head of the laser cutting machine, then the lens needs to be protected for isolation andprotection.

⑤The function of laser copper nozzle

After the laser passes through the protective lens, it is released through the laser copper nozzle.
